Contrary to what you may assume or have ben told, July and August are the two best months to conduct a job search. Confused? Bewildered? Lets discuss why a summer job search can be great. Summer Job Search Facts On or about the last week of June 70% of your competition in the job search race will back out of their search as they think a job search in the summer is a waste of time. Baloney! Hiring doesnt come to a halt during extended vacation time. There is still the same amount of jobs available, but there are fewer job searchers on the hunt. Lets do the arithmetic here.
